Six points that are important to remember when learning psychetypes:
  1. Never evaluate an experiential type on the basis of one's personality.
  2. In an effort to be as precise as possible, experiential typology uses different terms when describing comparable aspects of behavior for each of the areas or functions.
  3. A type is not the same as a role.
  4. Each of the experiential worlds is just as valid as any of the others.
  5. Each function is available to every person.
  6. Finally, and most importantly, remember that it is our experience of reality and not our behavior that has primary, for this is a theory of experiential psychology.
